2017-01-02 TNKR’s Worst Volunteer in History!

A sister and nephew of TNKR co-founder Eunkoo Lee came to visit. Her nephew showed up eager to get involved! But he also quickly showed what is wrong with nepotism.

Immediately he started working on his future plans. But instead of helping, he completely destroyed everything we had planned, then scribbled in his own activities.

Then when he was caught, he showed no remorse. First he ignored us. Then he finally acknowledged us, asking, "Is there a problem?"

When Eunkoo got a hold of him, he celebrated his destruction. "Yeah, I did it!!!"

His mom got him on the phone with supervisor Dad, but he went back to destroying TNKR's plans.

He destroyed our plans, ate our food, and was laughing the entire time. But we forgave him anyway. We then took a group photo, recognizing that every company must allow for a destructive force so we can re-consider our plans and strategy.

Chosun Monthly magazine [Korean language]

Chosun Monthly Magazine has made an announcement (in Korean) about the Seoul Honorary Citizenship award that I received on December 9, 2022.  Our Korean staffers say that the magazine is a big deal in South Korea. Here's the overall roundup of media about the award. In the next two months, I have extended interviews coming up in two different magazines, one in the USA and one in South Korea. Both articles will be in respected publications so they should raise awareness of FSI's work that your support makes possible. * * * Support FSI via Stripe or PayPal . https://donate.stripe.com/3cs28F5IAcc85IAaEF or PayPal .

Casey Lartigue awarded "Social Contribution" Award (Hansarang)

On April 20, 2017, I was awarded the "Social Contribution" award by the Hansarang Foundation.  When I was first nominated, my response was: "Hahahaha! I won't win, but it is a great honor to be nominated."  It was until I was a finalist that I took it seriously. Then instead of saying "I am honored to be nominated," I wanted to WIN ! Which I did! I was awarded a plaque, 10 million won (about $9,000), and many congratulations from many people (including other awardees that night).
