Incredible. A book I co-edited a few years ago is for sale...for $63.80. Or you can get it on Amazon at a bargain price of $55.00 or $50.00.

Those are used copies.

I hate to undercut the folks trying to hawk my book, but...

you can buy a signed copy directly from me at any of those prices listed above. I'd even bust into the Cato warehouse to get some copies of the book stacked up in a corner to sell at half of those Amazon prices.

For a plane ticket, car rental, night in a hotel, and small fee, I'd even come to your home to read to you, family, and friends the chapter of the book I authored.

I do wonder if any of the people who got signed copies of the book (see home page pic) have tried to sell the book.

Casey Lartigue awarded "Social Contribution" Award (Hansarang)

On April 20, 2017, I was awarded the "Social Contribution" award by the Hansarang Foundation. When I was first nominated, my response was: "Hahahaha! I won't win, but it is a great honor to be nominated." It was until I was a finalist that I took it seriously. Then instead of saying "I am honored to be nominated," I wanted to WIN ! Which I did! I was awarded a plaque, 10 million won (about $9,000), and many congratulations from many people (including other awardees that night).

Chosun Monthly magazine [Korean language]

Chosun Monthly Magazine has made an announcement (in Korean) about the Seoul Honorary Citizenship award that I received on December 9, 2022. Our Korean staffers say that the magazine is a big deal in South Korea. Here's the overall roundup of media about the award. Is the SOTU over?

Some people asked me if I watched President Biden’s State of the Union. Haha! I have seen enough of them. Not just Biden’s SOTU, but SOTUs by US presidents! Back in 1999, I not only watched President Clinton’s SOTU, but the Cato Institute gave me the task of keeping track of all of President Clinton’s proposals and promises.
